SVBC Endorses Santa Clara County Parks Park Charter Fund, Measure A

In January 2016, the SVBC Policy Advisory Committee approved a request to endorse the Santa Clara County Parks Park Charter Fund, Measure A, which will be on the ballot in June 2016.The Santa Clara County Parks Charter Fund has provided sustainable funding for the county’s park system since 1972. It is not a new tax, but a renewal, allowing Santa Clara County Parks to operate and maintain parkland throughout the county and develop new parks and trails.

How-To Report Road Issues in San Jose

Are you tired of dodging cars because there’s a car parked in the bike lane? Did you get yet another flat from that huge pothole? As a bicycle commuter in San Jose I deal with issues like these on a regular basis, which is why I joined SVBC. I wanted to learn how I could help make it safer for bicyclists.
