Become a 2025 Bike to the Future Sponsor!
Experience a one-of-a-kind charity ride where diverse biking communities unite in support of SVBC’s mission for safer streets.
Sponsoring an SVBC event is a wonderful way to contribute to a safer, healthier, friendlier, more efficient, more economical, less congested, and less polluted community.
An excellent way to connect with and have visibility in front of the general public and committed cyclists who have provided significant resources to support the bike movement. All sponsors are gratefully acknowledged on event signage, website, emails, press releases, and via social media while top sponsors are also included on jerseys and mentioned on the stage. Sponsors are also encouraged to create corporate teams as a way of building employee morale, health, team cohesion, and pride. If your company has a strong riding culture or wants to develop one, this is a great way to show your support, all while supporting Safe Streets. Sponsor the event, organize a team, and come out and ride!

Why Volunteer?
Make a Difference, meet fellow volunteers!
Volunteers get a free t-shirt, water bottle, and two meals.
Day of Ride:
Pre-hydrate and eat breakfast with electrolytes. Stay hydrated.
Drink plenty of water before, during, and after the ride.
Drink electrolytes every time you hydrate. You need to replenish these as much as water in the heat and you can get pretty sick if you get low on them in the heat, even if you are hydrated.
Recommend riders ride with a wet bandana, sun shirts, or sun sleeves to increase evaporation while on the bike.
Wear light, loose-fitting clothing. Avoid wearing anything that will trap heat.
Take breaks in the shade. If you start to feel overheated, take a break in the shade and cool down. Listen to your body. If you feel dizzy, nauseous, or lightheaded, stop riding and rest.
