What would it take to get more butts on bikes? SVBC joined 31 other organizations outlining a $16 billion transformational regional strategy for active transportation and micromobility to decision makers throughout the Bay Area. As decision makers consider investments in transportation over the next year, the letter’s signatories are asking that priority be given to projects, programs, and policies that benefit people biking, walking, and scootering. We are about to mark the one-year anniversary of the passage of Measure W. Over this year, SVBC has been working with San Mateo County Transportation Authority (SMCTA) on the Strategic Plan for implementation of the funding measure. The Draft Strategic Plan 2020-2024 is now open for comments thru Nov. 15 and will be approved in early December. Check out the blog for more info and how to provide feedback!
