Transportation Enhancements avoid the axe

The Coburn Amendment 2371 was defeated in the Senate Thursday morning in a 39-59 vote.

Thank you all for calling Senators Boxer and Feinstein and sending in Transportation Enhancement projects. Senator Boxer used some of these examples when she spoke out against the amendment on the floor of the Senate .

S. Amendment 2371 would have eliminated the Transportation Enhancements program. (Senator Coburn withdrew S. amendment 2370).

It's important to follow up with Senate offices and let your Senators know we're watching and that their votes matter to us.
