✨You booked the night train for a reason
So you could sit there
in this hurt instead of in traffic✨

Yay! You are going to Levi’s Stadium to hear Taylor Swift. Did you get a parking pass? You Should’ve Said No. Other cities have reported that there’s no such thing as a Getaway Car with two+ hours of traffic after the concert. Planning to take an Uber? Tell Me Why, please! Because Swifties in other cities have reported insane surge pricing and drivers canceling requests.

Well, I Know Places you can take transit from instead!* You can be The Lucky One and get to and from the concert with Happiness and before Daylight comes. Long Live public transportation!

*Please note that these are suggestions based on my personal knowledge of transportation in the Bay Area and limited research. You are responsible for confirming all transit schedules/stops before embarking on your Eras Tour journey! Don’t Blame Me if you have any issues the day of the concert :)

***IMPORTANT*** Before the concert, download a Clipper Card into your Apple Wallet/Google Pay and pre-load money so you can easily pay your fare with your phone! Do this before you leave for the concert! Other fans have reported not having enough cell service/internet after the concert to buy transit tickets.

The Eras Tour transportation options

🚲BICYCLE: If you live nearby, consider riding a bicycle to the stadium to avoid all the crowds! The Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition will be offering free Valet Bike Parking near Gate C (see map here or red box on the map below). Bike valet opens three hours before the concert and closes one hour after the event ends. Learn more about the Valet Bike Parking service at Levi’s Stadium here!

Not sure what bike route to take? See suggested biking routes from Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, and San Jose here.

🚈VTA LIGHT RAIL: If you are coming from Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Milpitas, San Jose, Santa Clara, or Campbell, consider the VTA Light Rail. Remember you can take an Uber to/from the station and it will likely be much easier than from the stadium!

The trains drop off and pick up at the Great America Station on the north side of the stadium near Gate A (located here and seen in the map below).

Here is a map of the VTA Light Rail Service after the concert:

If you are coming from anywhere farther away, you can also consider driving and parking at a Light Rail station. This map shows stations with “Park and Ride” lots (NOTE: This map is NOT accurate in showing post-event service — see the map above to confirm the station will be served after the concert).

For more information about VTA Light Rail and Levi’s Stadium, see here. You can use their trip planner tool to help you figure out which station you want, too!

🚆CALTRAIN: If you’re coming from San Francisco or anywhere on the Peninsula north of Mountain View, consider taking Caltrain and connecting to VTA light rail at the Mountain View Caltrain station! According to the Caltrain website, they are running a “Swiftie Special” train from Mountain View after the concert.

Northbound Swifties going to SF or anywhere along the Peninsula can catch the “Swiftie Special” which will depart Mountain View 75 minutes after the end of the show. There is also a regularly-scheduled train departing at 11:33p, though you will likely need to leave the concert early to make that one.

Southbound Swifties can catch Caltrain as far south as San Jose Diridon/Tamien, but may find it faster to take VTA (see above). Click this link to see Southbound Caltrain service options after the show.

You can see a full map of Caltrain stations here.

🚅BART: If you are coming from Richmond, El Cerrito, Berkeley, Oakland, San Leandro, Hayward, Union City, Fremont, Antioch, Pittsburg, Concord, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Orinda, Castro Valley, Dublin, or Pleasanton, consider taking BART and connecting to VTA light rail at the Milpitas station!

After the concert, BART has two trains leaving from Milpitas: one at 11:21p and one at 11:51p. If you are traveling towards Antioch, you will need to transfer at the 19th Street BART station. If you are traveling towards Dublin/Pleasanton, you will need to transfer at the Bay Fair BART station.

They also are running two special late-night limited-service trains that leave Milpitas BART at 12:30a. These limited trains will only stop at the following four stations:

  • Bay Fair

  • MacArthur

  • Pleasant Hill

  • El Cerrito del Norte

If you are coming from anywhere in the East Bay, consider parking at one of these stations and taking BART. All four of these stations have free parking lots available.

For more information on special BART service, visit this page. Use BART’s trip planner tool to plan both your trip to the concert and your trip home. You can enter your home address and it will tell you the closest BART station.

🚂CAPITOL CORRIDOR (AMTRAK): If you are coming from Sacramento, Davis, Suisun, Fairfield, Suisun, Martinez, Richmond, Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, Hayward, or Fremont, consider taking the Capitol Corridor! They are offering special service to and from the concert with the final train leaving at 11:59p from the Santa Clara-Great America Station near Gate F (located here). Note that you must buy tickets in advance and cannot use a Clipper Card for this option. There are lots of deals and promotions on ticket prices if you’re traveling with others or are a senior, student, active-duty military, veteran, person with a disability, or child. Book your ticket in advance here.

🚌RALLY BUS: If you are coming from across the region (as far north as Sacramento and Santa Rosa and as far south as Gilroy and Fresno), consider taking “bus rideshare” run by private company Rally. The bus will leave 45 minutes after the concert ends. You can learn more and book here. Note that this bus requires a minimum number of travelers to confirm the trip and the deadline to meet the minimum is Friday, July 21.

🚲BIKE SHARE TO TRANSIT: If you live in San Francisco, Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland or San Jose, consider using bike share to get to/from your preferred transit stop! You can check out a bike using the Lyft app, or download the Bay Wheels app. More information about bike share can be found here.

CONFIRMED UNAVAILABLE SERVICES:

  • ACE (Altamont Corridor Express) serving Stockton, Lathrop/Manteca, Tracy, Vasco, Livermore, Pleasanton and Fremont has confirmed they are not providing service to The Eras Tour.
