It Takes A Village

By now, you are probably settling into a new routine in the midst of our new shelter in place expectations. Some of you may be working from home and adjusting to juggling family responsibilities amongst work needs. Some of you may be out of work and struggling to make ends meet. And, some of you may be essential workers who are working to save lives and keep us all going - to you, a heartfelt thank you. Whatever your situation may be, one thing that is noticeable is the increase of people recreating to find release and comfort outdoors. We’re fortunate to be in a place with hospitable weather and beautiful, open spaces to roam. Our role at SVBC is to support you and others with resources to incorporate biking into your lives.

Biking with kids

We’ve seen lots of families out biking which absolutely warms our hearts. We hope kids who begin biking early on will carry healthy habits throughout their lives. Yay for physical, mental, and environmental health!

Check out this Family Biking Guide created by our friends at the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition.
