Bicycle Friendly Workplace Program

SVBC is proud to announce our Bicycle Friendly Workplace (BFW) program. This ambitious program aims to certify qualifying Silicon Valley businesses as Bicycle Friendly, thereby further promoting the bicycle as a viable means of transportation in the community. As important and rewarding as bicycle commuting is, potential cyclists can be deterred without a supportive work environment.  Features like adequate bicycle parking, lockers, showers, and repair materials and facilities can help address the concerns of those who have the desire to bike to work, but feel they lack the means.
