Centerline Rumble Strips on Hwy 9 Update

Through our contacts at Caltrans, we've been able to negotiate to have a closer look taken regarding the proposed need for centerline rumble strips on Hwy 9. Instead of following through with the original plan to install rumble strips on 7 continuous miles, Caltrans will now be identifying potential auto vs auto conflict points. They will then analyze shoulder widths in these specific areas and ensure that cyclists won't be squeezed by passing motor vehicle traffic.
