Submit your Proposal for the 13th Annual Silicon Valley Bike Summit!

Exciting news for those involved in transportation and bicycling in the Bay Area! The Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition (SVBC) and the City of Mountain View are pleased to announce that they will be hosting the 13th Annual Silicon Valley Bike Summit on August 24 at the City of Mountain View Community Center. We are currently seeking proposals for sessions.

Deadline for submission is Friday, April 14, 2023. Decisions on sessions will be made in April and May 2023.

About the Summit

The Bike Summit is a one-day conference designed to educate the community on key issues related to bicycling in the area. It also serves as an opportunity to bring together people working in this field, including citizen activists, city and county staff, elected officials, business representatives, consultants, non-profit workers, Bike and Pedestrian Advisory Committee members, and others. For agenda, speakers and details of last year’s Summit see here.

The conference consists of multiple sessions, each lasting about 1 hour and 15 minutes, including Q&A. Sessions may feature multiple speakers and/or related topics. If you have a topic or idea that you would like to present or coordinate a session around, SVBC is currently accepting proposals!

To submit a proposal, interested individuals should fill out this form providing relevant information on the proposed session. Depending on the proposals received, organizers may merge topics and speakers into a single session.
