Show your support for Safe Routes to School

The federal Safe Routes to School (SRTS) program that seeks to improve safety and encourage children to walk and bicycle to school has recently been considered as one of the five programs the House of Representatives may vote to terminate. Fortunately, this program avoided the majority vote this week and was not selected as the option the public could vote on cutting through the YouCut initiative, but it may be up for consideration again soon if we don’t take action. We urge you to contact your Representative and ask them to support the Safe Routes to School programs. Click here to take action.
