San José Annual Trail Report

The City of San José has just completed and posted its seventh Annual Trail Program Report. The report provides an overview of the many trail projects that were planned, studied, designed and constructed over the past 12 months. The report also highlights a 9% increased use of its trails and notes that over 51% of trail users are commuting to and from work.

The city’s Trails Program is currently working towards achieving their ambitious mission to develop a 100-mile trail network comprised of 35 individual trail systems by 2022. With 53.71 miles already in place and many more in development, the city is well on its way to achieving its goal of providing more fun and healthy avenues for recreation and commuting.
