Thanks to our super volunteers for getting Bike to Work Day rolling

The Employer Toolkit Stuffing Party held at Palo Alto Bicycles on Tuesday, March 30 was a complete success! During 2½ hours of fun, 12 amazing volunteers helped stuff close to 800 envelopes with Bike to Work Day (BTWD) information that will be sent out to as many Silicon Valley companies.

The remarkable job of our volunteers helps us raise awareness of not just BTWD, but bicycling for the everyday commute. SVBC would like to thank every single one of our wonderful volunteers for your assistance and Palo Alto Bicycles for allowing is to use their facility. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Upcoming volunteer opportunities:

San Mateo County Bag Stuffing Party – Thursday, May 6 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at REI San Carlos.

Santa Clara County Bag Stuffing Party – Saturday, May 8 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Sports Basement Sunnyvale.

If you would like to participate in either of the above events (or both!), email ernesto@bikesiliconvalley.org.
