El Camino Real bikeway in Menlo Park

Menlo Park is currently studying whether to add a third lane of traffic to El Camino Real or to make complete streets improvements. El Camino Real in Menlo Park is a vibrant business district and would be aided by more direct access to these businesses by people who bike. It is also the most direct route between adjacent cities and serves as a major crossing point for kids walking and biking to school. For these reasons, SVBC is advocating for better bicycle facilities on this route to increase safety for all users instead of adding to congestion and unsafe crossings with a third traffic lane.
