A fine time for tea at Elizabeth Gamble Gardens

I had the pleasure of joining the Ladies’ Tea and Bike Social at the Elizabeth Gamble Garden last Saturday. The event was organized and lead by SVBC member Janet Lafleur. I have to say, she knows how to put on a party! Everyone was asked to bring their favorite tea cup and a tea time snack and Janet brought, in a trailer pulled on her bike, all the tea and hot water for over 15 ladies. We had a great time sitting around a park bench in the garden getting to know each other, enjoying yummy treats and sharing bike stories.
