Santa Clara: Bicycle Plan Update Event May 18th at Fremont Park

As we announced last month, City of Santa Clara has begun updating its Bicycle Master Plan and wants to hear from you about how to improve bicycle infrastructure in the City. Whether you think El Camino Real should have protected bike lanes, or bike routes to school on Kiely and Benton ought to be safer—all suggestions will contribute to making the next Santa Clara bike plan more robust and forward-looking.At a second community outreach event organized by the City, folks will have an opportunity to provide input on the Bicycle Master Plan update at the Health and Wellness Fair on May 18th from 10 am to 1 pm at Fremont Park. Feel free to stop by at anytime during the event. And if you haven't already, use the City's interactive mapping tool to flag routes where bicycle facilities could be improved and/or installed.
