We Need Volunteers to Make BTWD Happen!

Hey you! Yeah, you! Do you love bicycling? Do you have a passion for commuting by bike? Do you live to see other people hop on a bike for the first time?We do too, and we need your help!Bike To Work Day (BTWD) is fast approaching on May 10, and we still need volunteers to step up and serve as Outreach Captains. Outreach Captains attend one evening training and recruit new SVBC members at energizer stations on BTWD. Our last currently scheduled Outreach Captain training is April 19 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Click here for more info. If you’re unable to make this time, please email jessica@bikesiliconvalley.org and we can make alternate arrangements. As a token of our gratitude, Outreach Captains receive a free t-shirt, one year’s membership to SVBC, and the knowledge that you’re helping make Silicon Valley a better place to ride for exercise, fun, or commuting!Unable to help on BTWD itself, but still want to help? Consider coming to our Bag Stuffing Party on May 4 or 5. We’ll have beverages and burritos for volunteers who help us stuff the bags we give away on BTWD.Lastly, if you like the idea of coming into SVBC Headquarters and rolling up your sleeves with some office/organizational type work, we could really use your help in the week of April 30 - May 4. Let us know when you are free! Email jessica@bikesiliconvalley.org.We can’t wait to see you at one of our events!
