Congratulations to the new SVBC Board members!
SVBC would like to warmly welcome the new members of our Board of Directors: Ian Dewar of Specialized Bicycles, Melissa Hippard of Greenbelt Alliance, James Lucas of Calmar Bicycles, and Rick Sutton of Plus 3 Network. We would also like to congratulate our returning treasurer, Jim Parker.
Five positions were available on the Board, and there were five candidates on the ballot. Voting was open to SVBC members in good standing, and candidate statements were available for viewing for two weeks on the SVBC website. Voting closed December 14.

In addition, there was one vote each for five non-campaigning write-in candidates.
A total of 93 of 640 eligible members participated, or 14.53 percent. Ten percent is needed for an election quorum.
