SVBC makes the news with Bicycle Friendly Workplace program

Just in time for Bike to Work Day, SVBC has made the news for our program that helps employees do just that. Our new Bicycle Friendly Workplace (BFW) program has been launched, and we are proud to announce that four bay area employers have been certified.

The City of San Jose pulled out all the stops and garnered a platinum certification. Webcor Builders made the list with gold certifications at both their San Mateo and Hayward locations. Silver certifications were earned by SunPower Corp. and Mattson Technology.

All four employers have shown dedication and enthusiasm when it comes to promoting bicycle commuting. Their efforts make Bike to Work Day all the more successful, and we thank them.
