Slow Streets

What are Slow Streets?

Slow Streets are programs that implement a “soft closure” (residents, emergency vehicles, and deliveries are still able to access the street) in order to provide more space for people to walk and bike. Additionally, these programs have been adopted to close certain streets entirely to enable outdoor dining, retail, and personal services.
