SVBC collaborative receives Stanford Community Partnership Award

SVBC was honored on Friday to receive a Stanford Community Partnership Award for our work on the Roadway Safety Solutions Team, a part of our Vision Zero Initiative to eliminate deaths and major injuries on San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties' roadways. SVBC Executive Director Corinne Winter and Dr. Mark Welton, who was hit by a car while on his bike, accepted the award on behalf of the Team. We couldn't have done it without our incredible partnership with Stanford Hospital & Clinics and a big thank you to all the local, county and state agencies, as well as other groups who have been involved. This is only the beginning!
