Action Alert: Protect bike funding in California's budget

Governor Brown has released his 2013-2014 budget proposal, and it is a risky one for the future of bicycling. It consolidates a number of current bike and ped funding sources into one "Active Transportation Program." Whether this new program is a step forward or a step back depends on you -- and all of us -- who must get involved right now to help shape the program.

CalBike, our Sacramento affiliate, has helped to craft this online petition:
http://calbike.org/ATPsurvey2013.

Please sign it by January 28, and share the link with fellow cyclists and pedestrians who understand the importance of active transportation in our state's environmental and financial future. Thanks!
