The wait is over! San Mateo County and City Association of Governments (C/CAG) has announced the post of Active Transportation Coordinator focusing on bike/ped planning and projects. The deadline to apply is October 17th.

SVBC staff and members, San Mateo County political leadership, the San Mateo County Health System, and advocates from all over the county have been working for three years to get this position funded and we are ecstatic that the county will now have a designated person to coordinate bike projects across the area. See our previous blog post for more info on what kind of tasks this position will be responsible for.
