Viva CalleSJ is an annual open streets event hosted by the City of San Jose to celebrate active transportation in our lovely city.

This year on September 23, Viva Calle will close off over 6 miles of roads to cars, meaning residents are free to bike, walk, skate, and scooter as they please through the streets! Just keep it safe, please ;-)

The event draws in over 100,000 people to San Jose to eat at local restaurants, shop at small businesses, and play in our parks. From SoFA to the Street, it’s a one-of-a-kind event kids and adults alike are sure to enjoy.

One end of the route is at the South First Arts District and the other at Martial Cottle Park. Both ends of the route and the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds will serve as activity hubs. There is no right or wrong beginning or end of the route – just hop in wherever and start having fun!

We can’t wait to see you from SoFA to the Street!
