Viva CalleSJ is an annual open streets event hosted by the City of San Jose to celebrate active transportation in our lovely city.

On May 19 from 10am – 3pm, Viva Calle will close off roads to cars, meaning you are free to bike, walk, skate, and scooter as you please through the streets! Just keep it safe, please ;-)

The event draws in over 100,000 people to San Jose to eat at local restaurants, shop at small businesses, and play in our parks. From SoFA to the Street, it’s a one-of-a-kind event kids and adults alike are sure to enjoy.

One end of the route is at St. James Park and the other at Emma Prusch Park. There is no right or wrong beginning or end of the route – just hop in wherever and start having fun!

We can’t wait to see you Downtown and EastBound!
