|Time:||6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.|
You are cordially invited to join SVBC on October 30 for the SVBC Annual Dinner, our largest fundraiser of the year, where guests will have the opportunity to hear from racers at the peak of the sport; bid on auction items including fine wines, vacation packages, bicycles, and quality cycling gear; and enjoy a delicious meal in an elegant setting.
We’re delighted to once again be joined by our accomplished Master of Ceremonies, Bruce Hildenbrand – announcer, photojournalist, and cycling expert. Bruce is unique in his combined knowledge of bike racing, connection to the Silicon Valley tech community, and skill as auctioneer.
This year’s highlighted speaker is Megan Guarnier, two-time U.S. Women’s Professional Road Race Champion. Megan will be racing for the gold in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
We’re honored to have multiple Olympic racers on stage this year! Dr. Christine Thorburn, 2004 and 2008 Olympic cycling competitor, will join us to share her own stories of competing on the world stage.
SVBC will also honor Google with the 2015 Corporate Bicycling Champion Award at the Dinner, and Mountain View resident, Janet Lafleur with the 2015 Ellen Fletcher Volunteer Award.
The Annual Dinner attracts more than 300 guests in support of a healthy community, environment, and economy through bicycling for people in Silicon Valley. Join us this October 30th!
