RIDESJ is a spring ride series to introduce you – the curious, the adventurous – to join us as we discover San Jose neighborhoods while learning about the Better Bikeways network. New to bicycling or timid to try urban riding? Great! We’ll teach you everything you need to know. Rides will be led by SVBC staff and ride leaders.

Meeting location: St. James Park – corner of 3rd St. and St. John.
Length: Between 8 -12 miles. Rides will end at St. James Park.
Ride content: Rides will include stops to take in San Jose culture – cafes, bakeries, arts, community and more! And, you’ll learn more about the new Better Bikeways Network.
Cost: Free and open to everyone!  Please RSVP in advance.
Pace: A very casual pace with lead, middle and rear leaders. No one will be left behind.
CA helmet law: Persons under age 18 must wear a helmet.
Families: These are family friendly rides, however, we ask that there are no riders who are in need of training wheels.
