Participate in this community workshop on Thursday, June 12th and continue to shape the vision of the Sustainable Streets Plan in the City of San Mateo.
This workshop is an opportunity to see how the plan is unfolding. Participants will work with a team of experts to identify conditions for using and accessing various modes of transportation, adding greenery and enhancing the look and feel of our streets and neighborhoods. There will also be an interactive group exercise to explore possibilities for making El Camino Real more pedestrian and bicycle friendly.
The concepts discussed at the monthly Taste and Talk Series apply directly to the Sustainable Streets Plan. If you’ve been attending this is a great way to apply all you have learned. Participate to see how each of the concepts can be incorporated into the overall plan!
The workshop takes place at the San Mateo Public Library, 55 W. 3rd Avenue. Arrive early to register and enjoy food and refreshments from 5:30 to 6:00 PM. The workshop is from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Please contact Ken Chin, Project Manager with questions or comments by calling (650) 522-7313 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
