City of Santa Clara Moves to Update Bicycle Master Plan

Do you live or work in the City of Santa Clara? If so, the City wants to hear from you about how to improve existing bicycle facilities or new ideas for routes where bicycle facilities could be installed. This is all part of the planning phase of the 2018 Bicycle Master Plan Update and your engagement is key in determining what projects and programs are prioritized for investment.If you’d like to weigh-in on how to make biking more safe, convenient and connected, the City is hosting a pop-up tabling event on Earth Day, April 13, at Central Library from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Participants are welcome to drop by at anytime.At the event, you'll get the chance to share your experiences biking in Santa Clara with City staff, as well as your thoughts on what’s needed to make you feel comfortable and confident for biking more frequently.Check out this interactive map to plot your travel routes and highlight areas in the City for improvements or locations you’d like staff to review.Event Information:Earth DayApril 13, 201810:00 am – 2:00 pmCentral Park2635 Homestead RoadSanta Clara, CA 95051
