Shop by Bike in Menlo Park and Win Prizes

This fall, you can explore local stores and win prizes when you shop by bike. Inspired by Bike Palo Alto's Frequent Rider Card (going on now!), Menlo Park will debut their Frequent Rider Card program for people who bike to local shops on October 29, 2016. Once you get the card, visit at least seven participating stores by bicycle, and make a purchase (make sure the card is marked by the retailer). Once you make your seventh purchase, you will get a prize and be eligible for bonus prize drawings! The kick-off will be Menlo Park’s family Halloween Hoopla on Saturday October 29 from 11 am -2 pm at Fremont Park, where you can pick up a card. There will also be a social bike ride on Saturday, November 12 at 1pm (details to follow). The program will run through December 31, 2016. To get your card and for more information, come to one of these events, or sign up online at http://bikemenlopark.org. Questions? Send email to bikemenlopark@gmail.comThe Frequent Rider Card was originally started by Bike Palo Alto in 2015 to encourage attendees to the Bike Palo Alto event to continue biking after the event, highlight local businesses that are accessible by bike, and show how easy it is to shop by bike. Enthusiasts in Menlo Park thought this was a great idea and wanted to bring the same encouragement to Menlo Park. Sponsors include Menlo Spark, Menlo Park Chamber of Commerce, SVBC, and Friends of Caltrain.
