Bicycle touring across the U.S. at REI San Carlos

San Carlos Hometown Days bike parking

Volunteers are needed to work in two or three hour shifts at the valet bike parking corral at San Carlos Hometown Days. The event runs from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm both days. In past years, volunteers have parked about 100 bikes per day at this event -- organizers are looking to increase their numbers this year! Volunteers will receive a 'thank-you' gift, in appreciation of their services.

San Carlos station area to get major connectivity project and a bike boulevard

The City of San Carlos announced last week that they are embarking on a project to increase bicycling and walking on the east side of the San Carlos Caltrain Station. A big portion of the funding came from MTC, a regional transportation funding agency.
