Project to be developed per phasing plan: 1. Phase 1: 880 to Trimble 2. Phase 2: Trimble to Montague 3. Phase 3: Montague to Gold Street
Grading and oil pre-coat applied to support paving from 880 to Airport. Two layers of asphalt paving installed from 880 to Airport (expect to be done by 7/23). Grading occuring between Airport Parkway and Green Island Bridge.... read the whole note.

Highway 237 Bikeway Construction

Hedding Street Bike Lane Improvement Project neighborhood meeting
Jul 23, 2012The City of San José welcomes your attendance and participation at this meeting. The Department of Transportation will discuss plans to remove one travel lane and on-street parking on Hedding Street, so that dedicated bike lanes can be installed between the Guadalupe River Trail and 17th Street.

Bike in the fast lane
Jul 23, 2012My commute to work on this beautiful Monday morning was marked by two notable bike lane situations. You see, last week I was honked at three times in one day and several times enjoyed the cooling yet alarming breeze caused by very big trucks leaving a very small space between themselves and me. The blog days of summer
