Foothill College Circuit Race

Join the Los Gatos Bicycle Racing Club (LGBRC), a multi-year winner of USA Cycling's Club of the Year, along with an as-yet unnamed title sponsor (could it be YOU?) for the Foothill Circuit Race, "The Learning Curve." This will be the first race of what will hopefully be a long tradition. The course is a 1.09-mile loop, with roughly 65 feet of elevation per lap. 7th Annual Menlo Park Grand Prix presented by Mike’s Bikes

On Sunday, July 22nd, local cycling club Velo Girls presents the 7th edition of the Menlo Park Grand Prix presented by Mike’s Bikes. This criterium, held at Bohannon Park (Jefferson Drive) in Menlo Park, is a favorite with the racers and spectators. There are 11 competitive events throughout the day, starting at 7:30am and running through 6:00pm.

Yahoo! has announced the launch of its very own corporate cycling team. The team, to be led by former pro racer Kevin Klein, was created as a result of the high level of popularity enjoyed by cyclists in Silicon Valley. Cycling News cites an online survey that suggests 50% of Silicon Valley professionals are fans of the sport.
