Well, it finally happened. Following a lifelong trend of unsavory persons easily violating my poor security measures, my bicycle, a rare and highly treasured Gary Fisher Artemis, has been stolen. Investigators are hoping the items' owners will come forward to identify and claim their property.

Well, this is horrific:
Witnesses called police around 3:45 p.m. Sunday to report that a gold-color pickup was trying to run down the boys near Fourth Avenue and Grant Street. One of the youths had to jump off his bike to avoid being hit, and when he did, the driver ran over the bike and onto the sidewalk, said police Sgt. Dave Norris.
