Used bike drive in Los Altos

The SVBC Bicycle Exchange is partnering with GreenTown Los Altos on March 31 to hold a used bike drive at Santa Rita Elementary School, located at 700 Los Altos Avenue in Los Altos. Join the SVBC Policy Advisory Committee

SVBC is looking for at-large members to join our Policy Advisory Committee (PAC). The PAC, as the name suggests, is an advisory committee only, but its decisions are heavily relied upon by the Board of Directors and the Executive Director to make decisions regarding positions and advocacy initiatives that the organization chooses to pursue. It's a bag stuffing party for Santa Clara County!

Join SVBC at our annual Bike to Work Day bag stuffing party as we prepare the thousands of bags that will be distributed at 70+ Energizer Stations throughout Santa Clara County. If you’ve attended in the past you know that stuffing a BTWD musette bag can be as fun and rewarding as receiving one at an Energizer Station.

Our fantastic volunteers have Stanford Football fans biking

We have some pretty amazing volunteers here at SVBC. We know it, they know it, and Stanford Football attendees REALLY know it. This season, our army of bike parkers, led by Jim Manitakos, Rob Robinson, and the incomparable Ellen Fletcher, guarded over 5,500 bikes at Stanford home games. SVBC packs 'em in at Stanford football home games

At the first home game of the Stanford football season, SVBC volunteers parked 883 bikes, 70 strollers, and a number of other items not permitted into the stadium. SVBC and Stanford offer this service to keep hundreds of attendees out of their cars when heading to the game.
