The City/County Association of Governments (C/CAG) of San Mateo County currently has four vacant seats for public members on the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC). The BPAC provides advice and recommendations to the C/CAG Board of Directors on all matters relating to bicycle and pedestrian facilities planning and on the selection of projects for state and federal funding.

Safe Routes to School in Belmont Redwood Shores

In addition to working in the Santa Clara School District, the Safe Routes to School team has made their way north to the Belmont/Redwood Shores district.

Alpine at Highway 280 just a vote away from funding

Great news this week regarding the potential restriping of Alpine Road as it approaches and passes under Highway 280 in San Mateo County. SVBC has been looking to get improvements on this stretch of road for two years now, since the tragic death of cyclist Lauren Ward at that intersection in 2010. SamTrans Board seeking public member applicants
