Calling all bike parking volunteers for Maker Faire

Maker Faire is a gigantic exhibition of do-it-yourself crafting, building, and exploring in San Mateo. Those who arrive to the Faire by bike get free valet bike parking plus a patch and you don't have to park out in the boonies. Cycling is a very popular way to get to the Faire. SVBC has been providing valet bike parking for the last few years, and 2013 will be no exception.

We all had a lovely time last night at our first-ever Volunteer Party and Chili Cook-off. There was chili (which was exceptional), there was cornbread (which was fantastic), and there was a gaggle of SVBC volunteers (who are also exceptional and fantastic). We staff members did our best to emulate our volunteers' typical grace under fire as we parked bikes and took on tabling duties.
