Ride to Downtown Willow Glen

Join the SVBC San José Team on a casual bike ride from the SVBC office to downtown Willow Glen to check out the new trial road diet and bike lanes on Lincoln Avenue. We’ll leave the office at 5:00 pm to see the new facilities in the height of rush hour traffic. This ride was rescheduled from April 7 to April 21 due to rain (well, technically, the threat of...

Recapin’ Freewheelin’

SVBC members didn’t let a little rain stop them from bringing down the house at Freewheelin’ last Friday, December 5. Our annual winter party was held at the Historic Adobe Building in Mountain View. In addition to delicious food and drinks, the night’s celebrations included a silly photo booth, a fun (and slightly precarious) giant Jenga, and an exciting silent auction. We also held a drawing for a shiny, new Linus Dutchi. The lucky winner of which, Karl Danz, is pictured below along with the 2nd and 3rd place winners who received a case of Gordon Biersch beer and a bicyclist wine stopper respectively. We can’t thank our dedicated members and volunteers enough for a wonderful year!
