Make sure to check the lupebikepool calendar regularly for additional changes and options.

Do I need special clothes, expensive gear, or a fast bike?
No special clothes are needed (maybe just some deodorant! ) – your work clothes can be your bike clothes too! Rides will be moderately paced and largely sweat-free. Use whatever gear makes you feel safe and comfortable. Any bike will do, but we recommend having it inspected and serviced at your local bike shop.

How fast do lupebikepool groups go?
The Bikepool is designed to be a commute solution for everybody, not just experienced cyclists. Groups travel at a moderate pace – about 10 miles per hour – and ride leaders make sure nobody is dropped from the group. We carry a tire repair kit and pump.

Interested in joining a bikepool? Bikepools are completely free to join and offer a fun and safe ride. There’s no need to sign-up, just show up, ride and have fun! You can also join our notification list to stay up to date on our weekly rides.

PLEASE NOTE: Rain cancels the event! As often the Guadalupe River Trail goes under water during winter months.

If you are interested in becoming a ride leader, sign up here.
