San José community streetlight meeting
Perhaps you noticed some of the white streetlights that have been installed in and around the city and wondered what was going on. Or maybe you read Mr. Roadshow’s article in the Mercury News about the City’s public streetlight demonstration and wanted to know what was going to happen next. Or maybe you made it to the demonstration and wanted to know what the surveys and tests revealed.

San Jose trails survey
The City of San Jose needs your feedback. The city has recently opened trails along Coyote Creek, Penitencia Creek, and Albertson Parkway. Please take the following survey (one survey per project) to offer your thoughts about the community outreach, design and construction of each project. Your input is requested no later than Friday, February 26, 2010.
Give your input on San Jose streetlights
Do you walk, bike, drive, or jog in San José after dark? Are you frustrated by the inability to discern colors under San José’s current yellow streetlights? Would you like to see the stars at night when you step out your back door? Are you eager to see the City realize its goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions?
Then please attend a streetlight demonstration to provide input on new types of streetlights the City is considering. This City-sponsored event will be held on Wednesday, March 3 and Thursday, March 4 from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. You are welcome to attend either night.
