Help find safe routes to your local school

The Traffic Safe Communities Network (TSCN) will be hosting planning meetings at local school sites. The meetings explore ways to increase walking and bicycling in a traffic safe environment, review the walk/bike assessment done at the individual schools, and come up with a Safe Routes to School plan for each school.

The next meeting will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2009, 8:30-10:00 am at Fisher Middle School in Los Gatos.

Check the SVBC calendar for other meetings in need of volunteers on the 18th and 20th of November.

Cat's Hill Classic Bicycle Parking

The Cat's Hill Classic, an annual bicycle race in Los Gatos, will have supervised bicycle parking provided by SVBC. Shifts are two or more hours, in the morning or afternoon, between 8:30AM to 5:30PM. The parking area will be on the edge of the course at Bachman and Tait.
