San Mateo Community Workshop: Hillsdale/101 Bike/Ped Bridge

February 5 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

You are invited to attend a community workshop held by the City of San Mateo to discuss and review different bridge types to be considered for the Hillsdale Bicycle/Pedestrian Bridge. Please join them to provide input on preferred bridge designs, and learn about the associated costs.

The Hillsdale Blvd/US-101 Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridge project will construct a new bridge over US-101. This project will provide an alternative route over US-101 for bicyclists and pedestrians who currently use Hillsdale Blvd to cross the freeway. The bridge will provide a separate path for the exclusive use of bicyclists and pedestrians and minimize conflict with vehicles. This bridge will also complete the bicycle network connection from the Hillsdale Caltrain Station to the neighborhoods east of US-101 and Foster City.

For more information, see the flyer or visit the project’s website.
