Pedal along the Guadalupe River on a paved and almost completely flat trail. Ride with old and new friends to historic Alviso, where South Bay residents were once able to board steamboats bound for San Francisco!
Route: We'll take the Guadalupe River Trail from downtown San José to Alviso and back. Lunch at Rivermark Plaza. Participants can enjoy the whole 22-mile ride, or turn back at Rivermark for a total of 16 miles.
Meet: The fountain in Plaza de César Chávez, downtown San José, at 10:00 am.
Bring: Lunch or money for lunch, water, helmet, and lock if you plan to explore downtown San José before or after the ride.
Getting there: Bikes are free on light rail and Caltrain. $5.00 flat fee to park at the Pavilion Parking Garage on 2nd Street.
RSVPs not required - just show up ready to ride and have fun.
