At Health Happens in the Workplace, Silicon Valley Leadership Group members, the San Mateo County Spare the Air Resource Team, Employer Program and other partners will dive into the details of how successful companies are making it easy, fun and safe to bike, walk or take transit.
SVBC will lead an easy-paced bike ride from the Mountain View Caltrain Station to the event, at Microsoft, that morning. The ride is roughly 2.1 miles, mostly on the beautiful Stevens Creek Trail, as shown on this map. Meet up at the Saavy Cellar Wine Bar & Wine Shop at 8:00 am (just after trains arriving from both the North & South – see the Caltrain Schedule or check below for recommended trains*). The ride will get you to Microsoft by 8:15, with plenty of time to get settled before the conference gets underway.
Please let Joanna Huitt know if you’ll be joining the ride at email@example.com. Plan to bring a bike lock, as SVBC volunteers will show you where to park your bike at racks by Microsoft’s Building 4 (next to the conference building, Building 1).
*Trains from the South arrive at 7:37 (train #221) or 7:57 (train #323), and return South at 2:15pm (train #150) or 3:15pm (train #152); Trains from the North arrive at 7:44 (train #312) or 7:58 (train #314), and return North at 2:29pm (train #155) or 2:59pm (train #257).
