About Peninsula Bike Party:
What
Peninsula Bike Party is a monthly night-time urban slow-paced social bike ride. The route is always different, but is determined ahead of time and includes built-in party stops (regroups to socialize and allow slower riders to catch up).
Where
Peninsula Bike Party rides the San Francisco Peninsula. We’ve ridden as far north as San Bruno, and as far south as Santa Clara. But most rides start in Redwood City, Palo Alto, Mountain View, or Sunnyvale, at or very near a Caltrain station.
When
Our big monthly bike party ride takes places the 4th Friday of the every month at 7:30 pm.
Our smaller regular rides include the Werewolf Ride (every full moon at 9 pm), Freak Bike Friday (every other Friday at 11:30 am), Rush Hour Rush (5 pm on Mondays or Wednesdays), and SJ BOMB (when the wind is blowing hard to San Jose).
Who
Peninsula Bike Party is organized entirely by volunteers.
Why
Riders have different reasons for joining Peninsula Bike Party, but for most, it’s because it’s FUN!
How
Peninsula Bike Party follows all applicable traffic laws. Here are our Six Ride Rules: 1. Stop at Lights, 2. Stay to the Right, 3. Pack your Trash, 4. Don’t get Smashed, 5. Ride Straight, 6. Don’t Hate!
