Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition

In 2009, the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition created a 20-30 minute Share the Road powerpoint presentation that covers safety issues as they pertain to both motorists and cyclists. SVBC plans to provide the presentation to a wide variety of organizations - from cycling groups to motorist associations and the public at large.

The presentation aims to enhance motorist and cyclist understanding of relevant safety issues, including obeying traffic laws, preventing collisions, being courteous and slowing down. Our goal is to foster a dialogue between motorists and cyclists. We believe that the first step in increasing safety is to promote understanding and mutual respect.
