Stevens Creek Trail Dedication Ceremonies
On Saturday June 13th, Mountain View will be celebrating and dedicating 2 wonderful new enhancements to the Stevens Creek Trail: the Moffett Boulevard Overcrossing and the extension of the trail to Sleeper Avenue.
The festivities will begin at 10am with the dedication of the Moffett Overcrossing which removes the only at-grade portion of the trail.
After the Moffett Overcrossing dedication, there will be a guided walk to the Sleeper Avenue Bridge for part 2 of the dedication ceremonies.
The dedication of the El Camino Real to Sleeper Avenue section of trail will occur at 11:30am.
With these 2 enhancements the Stevens Creek Trail now provides connectivity from Shoreline Park to Sleeper Avenue, with no at-grade crossings of the trail. The trail features access under 101, over Central Expressway, over 85, and under El Camino. With the access to Sleeper one can ride along Sleeper, cross Grant Avenue and then get to Cuesta Park.
No need to RSVP, just show up for one or both of these dedications!
