Faber's Cyclery Museum & Gallery

April 27, 2009 - 6:31pm -- Malaya

Hi,
Alex La Riviere is the 30+ year owner of Faber's Cyclery in downtown San Jose. A 2009 community awareness and fundraiser calendar was put together for his shop. It worked, because he is starting to get some attention. Attached is a blurb from the Metro about him, his shop, and his cause. He is looking for an investor to help him restore the building and create a museum/beer garden. This building is a historical San Jose landmark and nobody wants to see it demolished. Recently the San Jose Mercury did a story on him and I am trying to get a soft copy of that story to post as well. If anyone has suggestions as to where else I can post this information to get the word out I would gladly welcome it. Thanks for reading.
