Special Yoga for Cyclists Workshop, January 11th in Palo Alto - Improve strength, flexibility and endurance.

What to expect

Learn easy stretches to do before and after your rides
Develop a sense of balance on and off your bike
Stretch those over worked muscles especially the quadriceps and gluts
Build strength in your core for improved endurance
Learn to breathe and relax

Join Karen McCavitt, an avid cyclist and certified yoga instructor for this special yoga workshop designed specifically for cyclists. Karen has ridden several centuries, is a two time Death Ride survivor and has mountain biked over the Continental Divide. Karen incorporated yoga into her cycling training 15 years ago and has seen the benefits directly. Yoga has improved her sense of balance, flexibility and endurance on those long rides. Karen was recently featured in the Yoga Journal magazine in the Summer Sports Guide for Cyclists. Join this workshop and learn the yoga poses that compliment your cycling pursuits in a fun and relaxed environment.

What to bring

Wear loose fitting shorts or tights
Bring a towel - yes you can sweat in yoga!
Bring a riding buddy along to join in the fun.
