SVBC is looking for 5-10 volunteers for a new Caltrain Workgroup. The workgroup will investigate solutions to the issue of cyclists being "bumped" from trains. Volunteers must be members of SVBC, knowledgeable about the issue (preferably because they regularly take their bikes on-board), and committed to finding creative and practical solutions that can be implemented in the near-term. The workgroup will meet as necessary for internal discussions and will keep the SVBC board informed on its recommendations and progress. The workgroup also will meet with Caltrain staff to exchange information and discuss plans. The workgroup is expected to conclude its business within 4 months of its formation.
