Next week's San José City Council agenda has several agenda (pdf) items of concern to South Bay cyclists. Topics include a more bike friendly Diridon Station, additions to the Coyote Creek trail, and the San Francisco Bay Trail.
The first bicycle agenda item is a city park staff recommendation (pdf) of the application of a grant from the state of California's Bicycle Transportation Account (BTA)to construct a one mile paved trail from Tasman Drive north to Highway 237 along the Coyote Creek.
And the big bicycle related issues concern the acceptance of the Good Neighbor Committee's recommendations for the Diridon Station Area as well the acceptance of the city staff report and presentation on the scope and status of the draft Diridon Station Area Master Plan.
Come out and help us support these key bicycle improvements in the San José Area.
