In June of last year, the draft Cupertino Bicycle Transportation Plan was made available for public review. Since that time, comments from the public have been incorporated and elements of the Plan have been refined to be consistent with the Streets and Highway Code.
The final draft is now available for review. This final draft of the Plan will be taken to the Cupertino Bicycle Pedestrian Commission’s (BPC) regular meeting on January 19, 2011, with the recommendation that the Commission recommend Council adoption of the Plan. If all goes well, the Plan will then be taken to City Council for adoption sometime in March, allowing for a two-month public notice and review period.
The final draft can be accessed from the http://www.cupertino.org home page.
Any comments or questions can be directed to Senior Civil Engineer David Stillman at davids@cupertino.org, or presented at next week's BPC meeting.
